WATER TASTE LIKE ROTTEN EGGS BUT SAFE TO DRINK

According to Philip Baggette This is the results of the high heat and lower water level and rate of flow on the river causing what is called a algae bloom. Algae can be removed from drinking water by filtration, and unwanted odors and tastes caused by algae are removed with activated carbon and potassium permanganate during water treatment which the water plant is doing now but will take several days for this to work through the system, Phillip said the water was biologicaly clean according to state test but for now the only advice is to let poured water set for 15 min then refrigerate or put on a carbon filter which will remove the taste. My self I will give bottled a try.
