Small Business Administration Workshop

The Small Business Administration Workshop for Crafters, held at the Library was well attended by 15 area ladies & one gentleman. Heather Penney, Director of the SBA offices in Clarksville facilitated the workshop and gave the ladies information and resources on how to start and better market their business. She gave ideas and tips on marketing your small business involving how to create a plan, networking, E marketing and new trends in marketing. She shared resources found online such as www.entrepreneur.com and www.quiltingbusiness.com. Kay French, Librarian had several relevant books out for display and through the SBA offices there are resources such as confidential counseling and other workshops available.



The workshop was hosted by Mary Chappell Ricketts of Chappell Bookkeeping & Tax Service. She hopes to have more workshops and ideas to help our local small business community in the future.
