A HEART AS BIG AS GOLD

Recent Erin Elementary pep rally brought about surprises. The rally was one held at the end of the year to give away prizes for perfect attendance and other such school achivements during the year. Little did one student know she was about to recieve a special gift. Mary P Gill a 4th grade student in Shelly Taylors room had entered a poster contest by Farm Burea and won according to proud dad Randy Gill. One day last week as Mary was riding her bike around the house she stoped where her dad was working and said you know if I win the poster contest I am going to give the prize of a new bike away. Win she did and at the pep rally Mrs Ralph Sullivan made the presentation and Mary p true to her word gave the bike to a girl in her class room who had lost all of her toys in a fire proving children look at the world from a diffrent point of view willing to share what they have are give away to those that have not when they are deserving. Mary is the daughter of Randy and Markley Gill of Houston County and a girl with a heart as big as gold. Way to go mary P.
