Famous Irish Celebration

The month of March is an exciting time for our town, our famous Irish Celebration brings many people wearing the green to join in our celebration of all things Irish! The kick-off breakfast on March 13th at 9:00 at Erin City Hall will start the week of festivities with the naming of the Lord High Mayor and our Emerald Award winners. There are many exciting events planned for the entire week, including a free performance at the Erin United Methodist church on March 17th at 7:00 by Harpist Shelia Mitchell-Hart, this concert is sponsored by the Houston County Historical Society. The Irish Banquet and Auction will be held March 20th at 6:30pm at the Houston County High School Forum, tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased at Erin City Hall. Auction items can be left at the Houston County Area Chamber of Commerce office on South Spring Street. If you or if you know someone who is interested in renting a vendor booth, please contact Melinda Conwell at 615-415-6107 for application information, we are a very popular event and our spaces are filling up fast.
