HCHS FFA Chapter Scored High at State Convention

Houston County High School's FFA Chapter attended the 80th Tennessee FFA
State Convention, held in Gatlinburg last week.
They received the State Superior Chapter Award, which is the highest award
offered to FFA Chapters by our state.
They received 4 State FFA degrees. These awards were presented to Carrie
Uffelman, Luke Tyler, Bryan Clark, and Chase Crockarell. This is the
first time since 1984 that Houston County students have earned State FFA
degrees.
Curtis Gant, HCHS Agriculture teacher, and FFA sponsor, wants everyone to
know how proud he is of these students and their accomplishments. He
stated that he is looking forward to another outstanding year.
